SBA/SuperUser – Yardi

Location: New York, New York


Senior Business Analyst will be the Yardi SuperUser.  This individual would act as an intermediary between Finance and the Technology team by using a deep understanding of the ERP system, accounting, business processes and technology to help achieve desired outcomes. They would additionally offer ERP support to the Finance team by providing coaching, preparing user instructions and training sessions.


  • Review, analyze, and execute configurations in Yardi and provide end user support as requested by users, partners, and stakeholders
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of current applications and Voyager 7S, and recommends tools and processes in Yardi that ensure efficient use of the system
  • Apply business analysis methodology to elicit and analyze comprehensive business requirements and use cases, specify, and validate the business needs from key stakeholders and recommending appropriate solutions
  • Identify and establish scope and parameters of systems analysis in order to define outcome criteria and measure-taking actions
  • Consult with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business requirements and resolve systems issues
  • Lead design sessions in prototyping new systems for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow
  • Managing & coordinating the scrum process with the respective team
  • Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems
  • Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications
  • Conduct research on software and hardware products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts
  • Maintain Yardi documentation for all environments and execute administrative system tasks
  • Provide orientation and training to power users for all modified and new systems



  • 3+ years of Yardi experience
  • Prior experience working closely with finance
  • Ability to present complex technical information and concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to facilitate, negotiate and mediate positive outcomes
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

  • Working technical knowledge of SQL languages

  • Proven experience in the operation and analysis of database hardware, software, and standards, as well as data retrieval methodologies
